Lanch and Plans
Today I’m launching the Network Analytics website! I’m excited to begin this new chapter.
I have spent the last few years learning everything about how to perform security assessments on computer networks, Active Directory environments, web applications and wireless connections. It has been an incredible experience where I have gained insights into the world of Ethical Hacking with an emphasis on Red Team Operations. However, cybersecurity is vast and there’s still a lot to learn, hack and break!
Over the same period, Artificial Intelligence and Cloud Computing have changed the way we do business, solve problems, and create projects. It has been empowering and threatening in equal measure because we are currently in a transition phase between the crumbling world we know and the new emergent way of life. It’s unclear how the world will look after the dust settles. What is clear is that we have to adapt and AI is a tool worth embracing rather than resisting.
This cuts both ways in security. While big tech rushes to train models on our data, threat actors are leveraging the power of AI to quickly develop malware, decrease the time it takes to execute the cyber kill chain and scan for vulnerabilities at scale. We must learn to strengthen our organizations by testing the resilience of their infrastructure and security awareness. To that end, AI can help speed up the process, lower the costs associated with an engagement and improve defensive postures. That’s the work I’ll be documenting here.
